Dear Friends,

Believers Assembly Chicago in LaGrange hosted a wonderful Missions Encounter last week, praise God. This was the assembly’s first time hosting of the monthly event. Well done, Believers Assembly! After a rich time of singing praises to the risen Lord Jesus, Prince Kumar spoke about the vibrant ministry of the South Asian Institute for Advanced Christian Studies (SAIACS), a world-class graduate theological institute in Bangalore, India. Prince and his wife Annie have been involved with SAIACS for the last several years (CMML 2024 Missionary Prayer Handbook, page 129). Prince serves as assistant professor in the Department of Biblical Studies (Old Testament) and his wife Annie ministers to the single female students. It was an impactful time of hearing about how the Lord is moving among young believers in India and surrounding countries. Upon completion of programs at SAIAS many graduates are going to work among the most unevangelized peoples on earth. Following the presentation, we enjoyed some great Keralan food and a warm time of fellowship with many from other Chicagoland assemblies. Thank you, Prince and Annie, and Believers Assembly Chicago.

The May Missions Encounter will be held at Oak Lawn Gospel Chapel on Saturday, May 10 at 6:30pm. You will not want to miss Louis Dooley (pictured below) sharing about Philemon House prison ministry, and Andy Ferrier speaking about the ministry of the Midwest Messianic Center. Jewish people in America are the largest unreached people group (UPG) in the USA, according to The Joshua Project:

“An unreached or least-reached people is a people group among which there is no indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance.”
